On Demand SMC: Sports Medicine: General Medical: 2/13/23

Course Description:  The Sports Medicine Conference provides in-depth evidence-based study of sports medicine problems. The various topics cover knowledge regarding diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation of sport medicine injuries.

1. Recognize sudden cardiac arrest and methods to prevent in the athletic population

2. Recognize exertional heat illness and methods to prevent exertional heat stroke in athletes

3. Recognize the methods of glucoregulation in diabetic athletes and ways to prevent diabetic emergencies
