Course Description:  The Sports Medicine Conference provides in-depth evidence-based study of sports medicine problems. The various topics cover knowledge regarding diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation of sport medicine injuries.

Objectives:

1. Understand the treatment options for massive rotator cuff tears 

2.  Understand the rationale for performing biologic tuberoplasty over superior capsule reconstruction

3. Learn the technique to perform biologic tuberoplalsty 

4. Understand the post-operative rehabilitation of this emerging procedure 

5. Understand trochlear dysplasia in the setting of patellar instability 

6. Discuss the difference in performing a trochleoplasty versus osteochondral allograft 

7. Understand the technique of BioPFJ

8. Learn the rehabilitation of BioPFJ 

9. Understand the classification systems and treatment options of OCD of the capitellum

10. Understand the advantages of fresh osteochondral allograft over other options for the treatment of OCD of the capitellum
