Course Description:  The Sports Medicine Conference provides in-depth evidence-based study of sports medicine problems. The various topics cover knowledge regarding diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation of sport medicine injuries.

Materials: Participants have no equipment or materials required to take this education course.

Objectives:  

1.  Discuss the current research studies with regards to methods and results

2.  Describe significant depth of knowledge of the medical aspects of sports medicine.

3.  Identify appropriate basic science tenets to the diagnosis and treatment of sports medicine injuries.

Accreditation:

Available for Physicians and Athletic Trainers for 1 EBP BOC/CME credit only. All continuing education credits are obtained through Caroline May - carolinem@asmi.org.
